Pastoral Care

The MET is committed to infusing God's love into the world's pain by meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of our members, their family and friends. We offer personal interaction with our skilled and caring staff and volunteers. We make regular ministry visits to area hospitals, nursing homes and hospice care centers. Home and personal visits at times of bereavement and other crisis are also an important part of connecting with each other and strengthening our connection with Jesus Christ.

Intercessory Prayer

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:16)

Wednesdays | 6:30- 7:45p.m. | Room 307, Third floor of the Main Campus Building and Encourager's Room

A group of believers join together weekly to lift up the many prayer needs of our church family. No training needed; just a heartfelt call to go before God with the needs and the praises of the people who attend The MET.

Counseling

God can lead you through a difficult time or crisis through conversation, prayer and spiritual direction offered by a lay counselor here at The MET. You will receive godly counsel and prayer from someone who stands solidly on biblical values.

At The MET Biblical Counseling Ministry, our trained lay counselors will welcome you with biblical guidance to help you through your difficult issues. Matthew 11:28-30 tells us “all who are weary and burdened, I will give you rest.” The Counseling Ministry, its counselors and counseling facility are designed to bring God’s rest and direction to your life.

Steps to Request Counseling:

  1. Complete the counseling paperwork.
  2. Return the paperwork to us by email, mail or in person at our Administration Office.
  3. Our Counseling Ministry will contact you with the next available appointment. Please understand there may be a waiting list. However, every effort will be made to schedule you as soon as possible.
