Thirty-seven screwdrivers. No, it's not the punch line of a joke. It's a fact.
I often find myself roaming through my house trying to find a screwdriver. "I just know
there's one around here somewhere!" Just this last Thursday, I took a
vacation day and spend several hours cleaning out the garage. Then on
Saturday, I spent the day organizing tons of tools, tape, bungee cords,
and pesticides, etc.
You know what I discovered? I own 37 screwdrivers! Yes, 37. (I am not even counting the micro screwdrivers...who needs those?!)
It's it amazing how much STUFF we have? After cleaning out my
garage, I have brought two van-fulls of items to donate to our Big Give
Garage Sale put on by our Student Ministry. My excess stuff will be
sold, and the proceeds will go to support our Big Give missions here in
Houston and around the world. You can bring your items the next two
Sundays in The MET parking lot, or bring them to the Truth Student
Building during the week.
Now that I'm done with the garage...it's time to tackle the closets!
