This morning I woke early to a cooold house (I subscribe to the no
heat, multiple blankets rule of thumb!) as Bryan and I headed over to
Fry Road for a time of prayer with Pastor Sal and about 40 other MET
Pioneers who will be launching The MET's Fry Road Campus officially on February 8th at Hopper Middle School.
What an incredible time as Sal challenged us from Joshua 4
where God tells the Israelites to build an altar out of 12 stones from
the bed of the Jordan river to commemorate God's deliverance and entry
to the promised land. After a time of prayer we built our own stone
altar at the base of one of our signs at Fry to commemorate the land to
God's use and us to His purpose in 2009. Wow.
2009 will be a great year for The MET as we seek more and more to connect people each day to the real Jesus in a real way.
