It's that time again...time for the seasons to change. Every year around back to school we begin to see many changes that preparte us for the seasons ahead. Our preschool & children's ministries are moving from a great, busy, super-fun summer and looking towards a fall to remember! I am reminded of the song lyrics in one of the songs of the most talented Christian lyricists in my opinion, Nicole Nordeman's song Every Season.
She says in reference to Autumn:
And even when the trees have just surrendered
To the harvest time
Forfeiting their leaves in late September
And sending us inside
Still I notice You when change begins
And I am braced for colder winds
I will offer thanks for what has been and what's to come
You are autumn
Isn't it amazing that we just launched a mere six months ago and yet look how far we have come! I can see God's handi-work preparing us for an incredible time of growth in both the children's and preschool areas at Fry Road. I praise God for an incredible first six months and I look forward to all that He has in store because He "is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to ALL generations forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21
