Jesus said, “I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Retirement is never mentioned in the Bible, but living is—over 850 times—and Jesus is the One who gives life "abundantly." At The MET, even for Senior Adults, the purpose is to serve, honor and glorify our Lord.

In a culture where those in their “golden years” sometimes seem to be either undervalued or underappreciated, Senior Adults at the MET recognize that the Lord still has “plans” (Jeremiah 29:11) and purposes for us and that He can use our years of experience to qualify us and motivate us to be examples “worthy of the walk” He has called us to.

Humble Heart is a Senior Adult Life Group whose members focus on Bible study, fellowship and Christian encouragement. We love the Lord and each other in a very obvious way.

Loving/Praying Hearts

A Bible Study for Senior Adults that meets on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in Room E-303.

We are a group of Senior Adults who have learned to love and trust God in all things. We have also learned that we still have much to learn as well as much to share with each other and with you. We invite you to join us as we fellowship and study together each Sunday. Joy is truly present as we gather and we want you to be a part of it.

Searching Heart is a Men's class for all ages providing Bible study and fellowship.

Serving Heart

A Bible Study for Senior Adults that meets on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in Room E-319.

Serving Hearts is a Senior Adult Bible study that loves God and enjoys singing together on Sunday mornings. They participate in Quarterly Senior Adult Dinners as well as a quarterly sing-a-long social in a member's home. 

Willing Hearts

A Bible Study for Senior Adults that meets on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in Room E-311.

We are a group of Senior Adults who meet every Sunday for Bible study, fellowship, and prayer support. We are committed to serving God and ministering to those around us. Many of our members serve faithfully in various church activities. In addition to participating in the quarterly dinners, we enjoy a time of fun and fellowship at frequent fish fries.
