Missions Update - Open Table
In late 2010, a small team of MET members embarked on a mission to transform the lives of a young single mother and her son who were caught in the web of poverty. This team employed the model created by The Open Table, a unique poverty ministry based in Phoenix, AZ. God truly worked through our team and Open Table and granted them a tremendous victory.
Our team was so successful, the breakthroughs experienced so astonishing, that Open Table has produced a video of The MET’s experience to inspire other churches to catch the vision. You have an opportunity to see that video and learn about Open Table this Thursday night:
• Date: Thursday, May 3rd
• Time: 6:00 – 8:00 PM
• Loc: TRUTH Student Building
• RSVP: 713-818-0737 (A light meal will be served)
Check out the attached flyer for more information.
Jon Katov, CEO of The Open Table, will speak. Arrow Child and Family Ministries & Krist Samaritan Center will also be on hand to share about their involvement.
Open Table has plans to transform the lives of the homeless, prison parolees, human trafficking victims, aged out foster kids and others. If you think you would like to be used by God to impact some of these lives, please join us on May 3rd.
