VBS 2010

Saddle up your horses and round up your posse as we meander

on over to Saddle Ridge Ranch!

Kids will be ridin’ the range and roundin’ up questions like, “What is God’s plan for me?” and “How can I be like Jesus?” At the end of the day, they’ll discover God’s Word has all the answers!

VBS is for children who have completed grades K – 5.

**Notice to Volunteers Regarding Background Checks-The Summary of Rights which appears in the background check portion of the registration page is required legal language provided by the Federal Trade Commission, the same entity that regulates credit checks. For that reason it may appear that we are running a credit check, but we are not. We only run a criminal background check which we are required to do by law for anyone serving or working with children. Also please note that even if you have a current background check on file, it will prompt you to submit another one. However, it will not be run if you have one that has been done within the last two years.

Each family member who wishes to volunteer for VBS will need to create their own log-in  ID and password. Since our system has built-in safeguards against children under the age of 13 creating an account, 12-year-olds who wish to serve will need to contact the Kids Ministry office at 281-890-1900.

At this 5-day VBS, children will enjoy rotations in crafts, missions, music and Bible study as well as a live-action worship.

Family Round-up

Friday, July 23  |  5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

After spending the week learning that God has all the answers, children are invited to bring their families back for a mini rodeo carnival. There will be a petting zoo, trick ropers, live longhorns and much, much more. Food will also be available to purchase.

Pre-registration for children is now closed. Walk-in registration will be available the week of VBS. Download the form (below) and bring completed Monday morning, July 19.

At these free 3-day VBS events throughout the Cypress area, children will enjoy the same exciting and informative craft, missions, music and Bible study rotations in addition to a live worship experience.
